Scandinavian Weaving 

“Scandinavian Weaving” will take place in connection to the Danish Weaving Festival 2018, which will be held in the framework of House of Weavers on Kattrup Estate near Jyderup. The theme “Scandinavian Weaving” will be the “red thread” in this year’s Weaving festival.

Through debate meetings, exhibitions and a number of related activities we will focus on the contemporary Nordic weaving art, the handicraft and the traditional Scandinavian weaving tradition, which emigrants brought with them crossing the Atlantic 200 years ago and still uphold.
