I VÆVECAMP DK taler vi vævningen som erhverv op.
Vi viser gode eksempler på, hvordan man med nytænkning og gode ideer kan bruge vævning som løftestang til både jobs og spændende projekter. Nøglen til udvikling er samarbejde.
Vævecamp DK/ opholdet er gratis.
Vi søger midler i fonde til dine rejseudgifter og 1 uges ophold i Danmark. Året efter inviterer vi på en lang weekend.
Vævecamp DK indeholder et vigtigt forum for fælles udvikling af nordiske væveprojekter, faglig undervisning i tæppevævning, korte workshops, oplæg med diskussion og tur til en dansk tekstilsamling.
Er du ung, bosiddende i SE, NO, FI, IS, DK og Færøerne, har 1-2 års væveerfaring, er i gang med en uddannelse/ lige netop færdig som væver eller en akademisk disciplin fx som tekstilingeniør eller kunsthistorisker……..
Ja, så er du måske en af de 12 unge, vi søger til Vævecamp DK I, II og III i 2023 og 2024.

What is Nordic Weaving network
NWN is aimed at everyone, including students with an interest and involvement in the Nordic weaving; weavers, researchers, collectors, curators ect.
NWN wants to make the Nordic weaving and design historical cultural heritage visible as an important starting point for continued development and innovation of craftsmanship and design.
In NWN, we want to stimulate collaboration between weavers and other professional groups,
such as relevant craft and academic disciplines with an interest in Nordic weaving.
Weawing Camp
The innovation Camp is a summercamp organised by Nordic Weaving Network and Selchaushus & Vævernes Hus.
Throughout the camp, the participants will experience the steps of an intense innovation process.
In focus is the future. Options, approaches and how to become a professional actor. All in collaboration and integrated in varieries processes…. within a Nordic arena.
The outcome of the camp is partly open, cause curiosity of the participants thoughts and dreams.
Hopefully the camp will lead to an Nordic education, projects, practice and production witch bring the weaving forward
